CLASSES
Vinyasa
An intense class that flows, or links, movements together, exploring the various ways you can connect poses through sun salutations. Vinyasa is based on the Ashtanga yoga form, yet sequences change from class to class, no sequence is set in stone. This is challenging because the student never knows what is coming next. All levels are welcome, but class difficulty will change depending on the level of students in class.
Basic and Sunrise Basic
All levels are welcome in this gentle yet mindful class. Initiates you to uniting the breath and movement. Poses are held longer than classical ashtanga, and sharpen your ability to surrender to the present moment. Basic yoga offers a deep experience of the awakening of prana, the life energy that links body, mind, and spirit.
Candlelight Yoga
Intended for all students, beginner and experienced, Candlelight Yoga is an elegant, peaceful way to end your day. The light is kept dim with the flicker of many candles lit around the room. Music is incorporated into the class as a graceful backdrop. The asanas (the poses) range from basic standing postures to gentle moving and stretching. More experienced students are encouraged to explore the asanas in a new way by moving slowly while beginner students are given the chance to explore new postures in a patient way. This Candle Light Yoga class is the perfect ending to your day, a wonderful way to work out any tension, to move and meditate, and wind down.
Ashtanga ( Short Form )
A sixty minute class, beginning with sun salutations and progressing to teacher's choice of primary series postures within sequence. This class is revitalizing and great when you don't have the time to do the entire series. Great for beginners to ashtanga.
Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga is a great way to compliment a strenuous vinyasa yoga practice. The postures highlighted in this class affect deep connective tissue, increasing your flexibility, energy flow, and greater range of motion in your joints.
YinYasa
Yinyasa combines yin yoga with vinyasa for a truly powerful mix. The class begins with yin postures and then slowly eases into vinyasa. A different approach which will teach you how to slow down and go inward into your yoga practice.
